Pat GouldAssistant Coach Pat Gould, an all-scholastic guard during his years at North Quincy High School, is a graduate of Framingham State College where he played Varsity basketball for four years as he studied to become a history teacher. He is currently serving as the Freshman coach and a Varsity Assistant for the North Quincy High School boys’ basketball program. Fun fact: Coach Pat is the first assistant coach Breakout ever had!

Brendan CunninghamAssistant Coach Brendan Cunningham, an all-scholastic shooting guard during his time at Quincy High School, is a graduate of Mt. Ida College where he played four years of Varsity Basketball for the Mustangs while majoring in business. He has coached Freshman boys basketball at Stoneham High School & is currently the J.V. Girls coach at Quincy High.

Liana CunninghamCoach Liana Cunningham, an all-scholastic point guard, captain, and 4-year varsity starter for Quincy High holds every assist record in city history. She was a stellar point guard for the Framingham State Rams where she earned MASCAC Rookie of the Year honors in her Freshman season & followed that up with a conference championship in her sophomore year! Liana is currently serving as the Varsity girls coach at North Quincy High School!

Nick WelchCoach Nick Welch was an all-star captain at Newburyport High School playing the forward position. He went on to play college basketball at Springfield and then at Emerson under head coach and BC legend Jim O'Brien. He received his degree in marketing and communications. After college, he co-founded "Community Hoops", a non-profit organization that provided free basketball instruction in disadvantaged communities on the North Shore. We are excited to welcome Coach Welch to the Breakout family!

Amy MaddenCoach Madden was a 4-time all-star at Silver Lake High School scoring 1000 pts. Reebok All-State First Team selection. Inducted into the Silver Lake Athletic Hall of Fame. Played DII basketball for Assumption College where she captained the team for two years and was selected as the MAIA W Division II Scholar Athlete of the Year. Has served as an assistant coach at Silver Lake and Plymouth South High Schools as well as at Pace University. Amy currently serves as an adjustment counselor in the Hanover Public Schools.

Scott MaddenCoach Madden was a league All-Star and Enterprise All-Scholastic at Silver Lake High School. Scored 1000 points for 1997 ECAC Champion Eastern Nazarene College (where he was a teammate of Coach Bretsch!). First team all-conference in his senior year. Started his coaching career as the freshman boys basketball coach at North Quincy High School. Varsity boys basketball coach at Marshfield high school where he later served at Director of Athletics. Coach Madden is currently an Assistant Principal at Furnace Brook Middle School in Marshfield.

Calvin SewardCoach Seward is currently the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Eastern Nazarene College. As a player, Calvin was a 4-time district champion at Harding High School in Bridgeport, CT. He then played 4 years of Varsity college basketball at Hartwick College where he majored in Criminal Justice. He is currently working toward a Masters in Business while assisting the ENC Lions. He has extensive experience coaching camps at the high school and college level. We are thrilled to have Coach Seward on board here at Breakout!

Alyssa CamaraCoach Alyssa Camara was a Varsity Captain and All-Star during her time at Quincy High School where she helped lead her team to a Patriot League title & one of the best records in school history. She is a graduate of Westfield State University majoring in athletic training. During her time there, her team won an astonishing three consecutive MASCAC titles. Her college coach referred to Alyssa as "the glue that keeps this team together." Alyssa is currently a Varsity assistant at Braintree High.

James O'HareCoach Jim O'Hare is a Special Educator at Weymouth High School and previously taught at the Higashi school for autistic children. Jim is an accomplished three-sport Varsity athlete and is one of the most experienced and talented youth coaches in the area. He has coached over fifty teams and counting in basketball, football, soccer, lacrosse, and baseball. His passion, knowledge, and ability to connect with players is second to none.

Nicole JorgensenCoach Nicole Jorgensen is a recent graduate of The University of Rhode Island where she finished her stellar career with 1426 points finishing 6th all time in scoring, 5th all time in rebounding, and 5th in blocks. She was selected to the A-10 First Team in her senior year as the top center in the conference. Her professional career in Greece was temporarily interrupted this past fall due to the pandemic. She is a graduate of QHS where she was a captain and the first player in city history to score 1000 pts and snag 1000 rebounds. We're thrilled to have her join us at Breakout!

Nicole DuniganCoach Nikki Dunigan was a 4-year starting guard in high school helping to lead her team to two New Jersey state titles! She won a New Jersey AAU state championship during that time as well. After high school, she continued her career playing club basketball at Princeton. She has coached at various levels over the past twenty years, and is currently coaching the mighty 5th grade team for Norwell travel basketball! She has been an instrumental part of our skills clinics for girls since 2019.

Tracey DymentCoach Tracey Dyment attended Bridgewater/Raynham High School where she was a 4 year varsity soccer player and 4 year varsity basketball player. Along with being a member of the Division 1 State Championship team, Tracey was also named to Who’s Who in High School Sports and was chosen as the Old Colony League MVP. Selected as a Boston Globe All Scholastic in 1992 and 1993. After high school, Tracey was recruited to play at Skidmore College and was named the 1994 UCAA Division 3 Rookie of the Year. Tracey now resides in Norwell and enjoys coaching and watching her three athletic sons in various sports.

Mark BrustCoach Brust was a two-time all-scholastic in high school scoring 1000 points while leading Duxbury High to a state championship. He continued his basketball career at Bates College where he was selected as a captain. He led the Bobcats in assists and was the second leading scorer in his senior season. Currently, he serves as the JV boys coach at Duxbury High and is also a middle school special-education teacher in Norwell. His blend of basketball experience, skill, and understanding of how to teach and encourage kids of all ability levels made him a perfect fit for the Breakout family!

Chad DiBonaventuraCoach Dibonaventura is a highly accomplished athlete, playing both football and tennis for Assumption College where he was selected as captain of the Varsity tennis team. In addition, he was a two-time conference all-star in basketball and was selected as a Central Massachusetts All-Star in his senior year. He is presently the Managing Director/CEO of a Private Consulting Firm. He has coached youth in a wide variety of sports and has coached in multiple basketball camps over the years. His passion for the game is second to none and we are very excited to have Chad involved!

Dave EddingsCoach Eddings has served as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Eastern Nazarene for the past five years under two different head coaches. He also played four years of basketball as a member of the ENC Lions prior to that. Prior to coaching at ENC, he coached two years of high school ball in Philadelphia leading his team to the state semifinals during that time. He currently works in marketing and is actively involved in his church community. We are very excited to welcome Coach Eddings to the Breakout coaching staff!

Sean DanielsCoach Daniels is currently an assistant coach for the men's basketball program at Eastern Nazarene College. Sean brings a wealth of coaching experience including time spent as an assistant and head coach at a variety of colleges including Graceland University, Kentucky Christian University, Sisseton Wahpeton College, and Finlandia College where he also played college basketball. He is an expert skills trainer (and great guy!) and we are thrilled to add Sean to the staff!

Chris GriffithCoach Chris Griffith has long had a focus on athletics, playing college basketball at Clark University in Worcester and prior to that was an all-conference and all-county stand out in high school in upstate NY. Chris also has extensive experience working with youth through Norwell travel basketball and US Kids Golf. Off the court, Chris has had extensive experience with strength training and fitness and is the co-founder and Managing Director of a nationally recognized private wealth management practice.

Bernard McGuinnessCoach Bernie McGuinness currently plays for the Eastern Nazarene College men's basketball team. He recently led the team in scoring and was selected as the NECC conference player of the year! Originally from Indiana, Bernie was a two-time all-conference high school player and team MVP. He has extensive experience coaching camps and clinics and brings an elite skill set to our trainings. As a Sports Management major, athletics is where his passion lies. We are excited to have Coach McGuiness on the Breakout team!

Gabriela JerahianCoach Gabby Jerahian was a Varsity Captain and two-time All-Star during her time at Quincy High School where she helped lead her team to a Patriot League title & one of the best records in school history. During that time, Gabby set the school record for three pointers made! She continued her playing career at Roger Williams where she was selected as a captain. After majoring in Elementary Education, she is currently working in the Quincy Public Schools and is currently the JV Girls coach for North Quincy High!

Tyra DavisCoach Tyra Davis was a 4 year varsity player at her Texas high school, earning first-team all-conference and team MVP accolades along the way. She later played college basketball at Eastern Nazarene College where she is majoring in pre-med and serves as president of the student body! She believes that with or without basketball, we should chase our dreams in every aspect of life.

Jamie MutschlerCoach Jamie (Cournoyer) Mutschler starred at Boston College where she was awarded Big East Most Improved Player and named to the All Big East 3rd Team. After college, she played professionally for the NWBL's Springfield Spirit & entered the 2002 WNBA draft. In 2013 she was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame. Most recently she enjoys coaching her 4 children as they learn & grow through involvement in sports.

Keven JamesCoach Keven James played college basketball at Emmanuel College as a 4-year captain. He has taught and coached at the high school level and also served as an Athletic Director. In addition to his high school level coaching experience, Keven also has extensive experience coaching youth through travel basketball and Scituate recreation. We are very excited to welcome Coach James to the Breakout family!

Lauren LambCoach Lauren Lamb was a standout in her days at Duxbury High where she scored over 1900 points and won a state title in the process. She continued her career at D2 powerhouse Bentley, where she scored 1000 points in her first two seasons, earning recognition as a 2x All-American! More recently, throughout the past six years, she has coached her daughter and two sons in Marshfield travel!

Coach Michala was a 4-year varsity player and team captain for her Bay area high school. She later played college basketball and won a conference championship at Skyline College before transferring to play at Eastern Nazarene. She served as a team captain for the conference runner-up Lions and was the recipient of the Del Malloy Conference Sportsmanship Award for the NECC. Michala has worked with youth as a coach for both basketball and lacrosse.

Coach Bryant was a standout at Cohasset High School and a three-year captain at perennial powerhouse Salem State, leading his team to three consecutive NCAA tournament appearances and the Final Four. Coach Bryant was formerly the boys Varsity coach at Cohasset High School and is currently an assistant coach with the men's team at Babson College (2017 National Champions!). He is presently serving as a physical education teacher at Hanover High School as well.

Originally hailing from Long Island, NY, Coach Osbourne "Ozzy" Trail is a graduate of Eastern Nazarene College where he majored in Sports Management. He played point guard for the ENC Lions for four years and is currently playing professional basketball for the TBL Tri-State Admirals. Coach Ozzy has shown the power of hard work and dedication in his own impressive journey as a basketball player. Check out these highlights of Ozzy doing his thing!

Coach Giovino played four years of college basketball at Babson College where he scored an incredible 1497 points and was the top FT shooter in all of DIII! He comes to us with an incredible wealth of coaching experience having served as an assistant coach with the men's teams at Lasell College, Worcester State, and Holy Cross for seven years. He has also coached extensively at the youth level. We are excited to have Coach Giovino in the mix!

Trey O'ConnorCoach O'Connor played his Varsity ball for Coach Fish at Marshfield High, earning accolades as a Patriot League All-Star. He was also selected as team captain in his senior year. He has since returned to his alma-mater and serves as Freshman boys coach and Varsity assistant. Trey is currently majoring in Sport Leadership and Administration at UMass Boston. We're thrilled to have Coach O'Connor on the team!

Ryan ComeauCoach Ryan Comeau is currently the Freshman Boys coach and varsity assistant at Scituate High School. He played Varsity basketball for three years during his time at Pembroke High where he was also recognized as the team's Scholar Athlete Award Winner. He went on to study economics in college. Ryan has worked and been a guest speaker at various camps and clinics and we are very excited to add him to the Breakout staff!

Steve CaponeCoach Capone has been coaching high school boys basketball for over 25 years at all levels, assisting on State Championship teams at Rockland, coaching JV boys at Hanover & assisting on yet another state champion there! He is currently the Varsity boys coach at Hull High School. Steve was also a decorated player at Rockland High earning recognition as a Ledger and Enterprise All-Scholastic! Thrilled to have him in the Breakout family!

Megan DixonCoach Megan Dixon was a standout at Hanover High School, winning a Patriot League title and earning All-Star recognition in each of her four years! She continued her impressive playing career at UMass Boston where she was selected as team captain, scored over 1000 points, and holds multiple program records! Currently, in addition to coaching with Breakout, Megan is pursuing a Masters and serving as assistant women's coach at Eastern Nazarene College.

Veronica CarneyCoach Veronica Carney hails from Tennessee and was a 4-sport Varsity Athlete in her hometown of Gatlinburg. In addition to competing at the national level in track & cross country, she received the Varsity Basketball Award in all 4 years. She played intramural basketball at Dartmouth College, in addition to Club Rugby. Veronica is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor & has previously worked as a Personal Trainer, Group Exercise instructor & Physical Education teacher! Her passion is sharing her love for basketball with others!

Matt MaraniCoach Matt Marani is unquestionably one of the most successful girls’ coaches in Massachusetts with his teams having won an incredible 75% of their games throughout his 17-year career including 7 league titles. Matt has been selected as the Mass Basketball Coaches Association Coach of the Year on 3 different occasions! Coach Marani is held in high esteem not only for his skill but for his character and the culture he is able to build with his athletes. We couldn’t be more excited to have him involved!

Liz LonderganCoach Londergan has a pretty remarkable basketball history having led her hometown Hull Pirates to the state finals as a player and eventually to a state championship as head coach! Selected as the Boston Globe Girls Coach of the Year, she is also a member of the Hull HS Hall of Fame and is the all-time assist leader at Curry College! Liz is currently a teacher by profession, and is known for her skill in developing fundamentally sound athletes. Coach Londergan is a natural fit for Breakout and we are thrilled to have her on board!

Ryan MacAveryCoach Ryan MacAvery led his high school to back-to-back conference titles and was team captain for basketball and football. He eclipsed the 1,000 point scoring mark, was named conference player of the year, and was later inducted to the Athletic Hall of Fame. Ryan also played at Hamilton College winning a Liberty League championship along the way! He currently resides in Hingham with his wife Sarah and their three children: Patrick, Ginny and William.

Joe BanderaCoach Joe Bandera is currently an assistant coach for the Cohasset High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team. As a player, he won back to back Patriot League Titles at Hingham High School. He studied Economics at UMass Amherst and is actively pursuing his Master's degree in Education at Bridgewater State. Coach Bandera has past experience coaching boys AAU as well as multiple camps and clinics.

Matt DevineCoach Matt Devine scored over 1,000 points at both Pembroke High School and Westfield State University before playing professionally overseas. Matt was a 4-time all conference selection and MASCAC champion while leading the nation in blocked shots! He also holds the WSU record for blocked shots and is 2nd all time in rebounds. We are thrilled to have Matt on board helping our players to reach their potential!
